How long are counselling sessions?
Each session is 50 minutes.
Would I have the same time slot every week?
Most clients find this to be the best arrangement. However, we can discuss a more flexible approach if work/family commitments make this difficult for you.
How much is each session?
Sessions cost £50. If you book a block of 6, this would be £250.
Do I have to come to your home consulting room?
No - I am happy to work online (using Zoom) and offer telephone counselling too.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person - we can agree a set number and review it at any point, or you can choose an open-ended agreement. We can discuss what may be most appropriate in the first session.
Do you offer a free consultation?
I offer an initial telephone consultation for free, but each counselling session costs £50.
What happens if I miss a session?
Provided you give me 48 hours' notice there is no charge. However, late cancellations will result in a charge for the full session.
Is everything I tell you confidential?
Yes - with the following exception: If you ever shared information with me which led me to believe you may harm yourself or others, I would have a legal obligation to inform the relevant authorities (ie: your doctor, emergency services or the police.)
